Future Tech Encourages More Wrist Action

Wearable tech is all the rage in tech concepts right now. With the technology to achieve truly portable, wearable technology just out of reach, it’s fun to imagine what we could be using in as little as five or ten years as computer interfaces. Two major technologies are being touted as the big enablers of wearable computing: Flexible, affordable OLED touchscreens and holographic screens. This concept has them both, and then some. The wristband is bulky but has a full wraparound screen, and can be laid flat with a pop out keyboard and holographic display projected above. The only strange thing here is that the concept is by Sony, who are currently pretty out of touch in the mobile and ebook reader markets. Is this Sony’s long term plan to get ahead of Apple and Google? Source: Yanko Design

  1. Lmao! Are you kidding me?
Sony might be out of touch in mobile phone ‘Market’ only, but you have failed to see their high tech research labs that Apple can only dream of.
See! Sony has hundreds of innovations and inventions putting Apple to ultimate shame in the field of research. Sony spend money on research while Apple on advertisement.
