Most Android devices have faulty benchmarks

The recent revelation that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 benchmarks were “adjusted” to make them more favorable has some tech researchers digging deeper into other devices. What they found is that you can’t count on accuracy with nearly any of them.

Thanks to AndreiF7’s excellent work on discovering it, we kicked off our investigations into Samsung’s CPU/GPU optimizations around the international Galaxy S 4 in July and came away with a couple of conclusions:
