Dell expands its lineup of Venue-branded tablets

Digitaltrends

Dell has announced a trio of new Venue-branded tablets for both Android and Windows users at its Dell World 2014 event in Austin, Texas. The new lineup starts with the Venue 8 Pro 3000 series. This slate features an 8-inch touchscreen display operating at a resolution of 1,280 x 800 and is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom processor alongside 1GB of system memory.

Dell added even more tablets to its Venue lineup on Wednesday after it introduced the Venue 11 Pro 7140. Of the three tablets Dell unveiled on November 5, the Android-based Venue 8 7000 is clearly the top dog with its super high-resolution screen and razor thin profile. Dell also announced a Windows version of it’s 8-inch Venue 3000 series tablet, which goes by the name Dell Venue 8 Pro. Here’s a rundown of everything you need to know about the two new tablets.
