Christmas gaming hits biggest roadblock ever with extended Xbox and PlayStation outages

Christmas day has always been a challenge for Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. The influx of people getting new systems and new games, creating new accounts and downloading all of the updates has made the networks difficult to use, but this year it was even worse with DDoS attacks on both that have made online gaming pretty much impossible on the networks. Even after midnight, both networks are showing to be down.

As for the PC? Well, it’s still working fine, so head over to Steam and blow some money in the ongoing Steam Holiday Sale. South Park: The Stick of Truth is only $14 andLegend of Grimrock II is $17, among other daily deals.
