Finally, A Way To Make Even Your Most Mundane Tweets Half-Dignified

Today is historic. Today was never supposed to happen, yet against all odds, it did. Today marks the first time I’ve sat back and thought to myself ‘Huh. Might be nice to have an iPad.’ Now, I catch a lot of flak as Techi’s resident Apple skeptic (he said, typing this from a Mac), but this morning, I am all smiles about That Crazy-Powerful, Magical iPad. Why, might you ask? You probably mightn’t. But either way, I’m going to show you. Here, we have Tabloids, running on the iPad. Pretty well-formatted app, right? Sexy. So it’s a news feed reader, isn’t it? Actually, it isn’t. This thing’s a goddamn Twitter client. That’s right. Tabloids takes Twitter’s mess of hashtags and retweets and shortened links, and presents them in a clean, easy-(and sensual-) to-read format, expanding shortened URLs into mini-articles that can be clicked for more information, organizing the trending topics into sections, and ultimately providing an incredibly smart front-end to a user’s Twitter experience. It even has built-in YouTube support! A representative of 25th Avenue, the team behind Tabloids, summed it up best to Mashable:
