Bang and Olufsen: Will This Booze and This Car Make You Forget This TV’s Ridiculous Price Tag?

When a TV manufacturer enlists Dom Perignon and Aston Martin to help promote their new set, you can be sure of at least one thing: you’re gonna’ need to drink a lot when you see the price tag.

But if German-based company Bang & Olufsen are known for anything, it’s sticker-shock. And sure, when you learn than their new BeoVision 10, a 40″ LCD TV, runs for anywhere from $6248 to $7675, you might need a moment to catch your breath. Thankfully, you’ll be glad to hear the higher-priced version comes with a remote control. Phew!

But in case you’re still skeptical, Bang & Olufsen will be convincing customers by taking their new set on tour around North American, with customer events in Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., and San Francisco.

Aston Martin will be there showing off their DBS Carbon Black Edition, which comes with a Bang & Olufsen sound system, while Dom Perignon will be sponsoring the events because, after much discussion, it was agreed they were generally a better fit than Budweiser.
