Chinese search giant denies spying on Japanese users

Baidu, the Chinese search giant and major player in the Asian tech industry, has been accused of leaking information from the Japanese users of a software program the company developed. Although the company is denying these claims, the Japanese government has asked all of its central government ministries to avoid using the program. 

Tensions between Japan and China are riding high now — and even technology companies are not spared the blow. Chinese search giant Baidu has found itself in hot soup for claims that it is leaking information from Japan via a software program it developed, raising concerns that it could be spying on Japanese users.
