GTA 5 could have been better had they looked to the past

There have been a lot of credits and accolades given to Grand Theft Auto V, but it definitely could have been better. All they had to do was learn from those that preceded.

It’s been five years since the release of Grand Theft Auto IV, and during that time, Rockstar was able to sit and think about exactly what they’d want to include in the fifth installment of their game when it premiered at the tail end of this console generation.

They largely looked backward to the game GTA 5 would be updating, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and rightly so. Players missed all the features in that game like the ability to buy and own property, amass huge collections of cars and customize their character both physically and also in terms of earned stats.
