A 2000 person survey conducted by CarInsurance.com shows that the majority of consumers would be fine with having a self-driving cra if it meant that they’d have cheaper car insurance.

Consumers would allow a computer to drive their car if doing so would cut their insurance rates by 80 percent, according to a survey by CarInsurance.com.
