Pinterest has finally launched in Japan with a slew special features and sub-categories unique to the Japanese version. This demonstrates Pinterest’s commitment to offer a more localized experience instead of just porting over its service in a different language.

Visual bookmarking and curation site Pinterest has finally launched a Japanese version of its service, more than a year after it indicated its interest in the country after inking a link with Japanese e-commerce giant Rakuten.
