Proof That The Game Console Is Dead

By utilizing the HDMI out potential with the iPad 2, a gamer is now enjoying the iPad 2 gaming experience on his 50-inch display. Not only that, but it looks so good. It’s all thanks in part to Infinity Blade, which is considered one of the best looking games on iOS.
Considering the difficulties console makers and game developers have been experiencing lately, it must be even more disheartening for them to see things like this get so much media attention.
This is something cool! I wish it is also applicable on world of warcraft.
This is rubbish. In no way will this ever overtake consoles plus this one game that rivals consol games was made by console game developers. The only way ipads or something similar could rival consoles would be if one was specifically designed to play high end games (which by the way infinity blade is great but doesn’t nearly compare to any console game, it just looks pretty) and that would just be making a different to normal console.
Great! Glad that I will buy an iPad 2 on friday when it’s released in Austria. 😉
