Google has made the mistake in the past of not doing enough to make their social media efforts stand out. They have proven over the last two+ years that Google+ is not going fall victim to the same lack of effort. Their latest batch of releases to the Hangouts feature on the platform are pretty cool.
Today during its āA Morning with Google+ā event, Google announced some updates for its Google+ service on top of sharing some improvements to Hangouts. Perhaps the biggest new feature that was announced during the event this morning is the integration of SMS into the Hangouts app, something that many user have speculated would arrive in Android 4.4 KitKat, the next version of Android expected in the near future.
