Valve has allowed users to “recommend” games to their friends for a while now but have never had a fully integrated reviewing system. Now, finally, Valve is allowing users to do just that with the release of the Steam Reviews beta.
Valve has officially rolled out its Steam Reviews beta. Gamers who own games and software will now be able to write out full reviews for other gamers to consider. Up until now, the closest Valve has come to letting users affect the purchasing decisions of other users inside the Steam Marketplace was the presence of the recommendation count for each game. You may remember, games would have a piece of info like 478 users recommend this title.
