#Videos: Mario fan videos take the loved video game to the dark side

There have been many attempts to take loved kids’ video games and turn them darker. In most circumstances, the results are tasteless, low-quality, and should never have been made. The Four Players by Polaris is a very distinct exception.

In a mix of real-world circumstances and fantasy gaming effects, they put together a completely different view of the Super Mario Bros world that might not stay very true to the source material, but it’s actually something that would be worth watching from an adult perspective if anyone every actually made the movie. The videos get progressively darker as they explore the lives of the four main protagonists from the series.
