I’m sure by now a lot of you have heard about the OnePlus One by now, the self-described flagship killer that rose to become 2014’s most surprising smartphone success, so surprising in fact, that the startup that made the phone didn’t have the supply to meet the demand. In order to remedy this, OnePlus has used an invite-only system to limit the number of sales, but that will be dropped for a short time on Tuesday.
The OnePlus One is a solid phone (as highlighted in our review), but remains to be one you’re unable to purchase unless you receive an invite. The company is planning to run yet another day for those interested in purchasing one to place an order without an invite on January 20. The promotion will run between 19:00-21:00 GMT / 7PM-9PM EST on the day. Both the 16 GB Silk White and 64 GB Sandstone Black versions will be available without invites. The 16 GB version will set you back $299, while the 64 GB variant costs $349. Do note that you’ll only have a two hour window to act.
